Overview

The current Waterbom Bali ticket purchase page presents all booking step (ticket selection, date, contact information, add-on, order summary and payment method) vertically long mobile page. While functional, this layout creates cognitive overload and friction for mobile users

🎯Goal

Create a clear, simple, faster, and more transparent ticket purchase flow without overwhelming the user.

🎯 Goal

Create a clear, simple, faster, and more transparent ticket purchase flow without overwhelming the user.

💡Solution

  1. Break the booking flow into 3-4 clear steps.
  2. Use a progress bar to show current step and remaining steps.
  3. Use sticky CTA and summary that provides real-time updates on total costs and booking details.
  4. Psychological Theories: Hick’s Law, Miller's Law & Chunking.

🚩Problem

  1. Information overload: Presenting all content in one scrollable page overwhelms users, especially on mobile.
  2. Visual fatigue: The "Infinite Scroll" effect on a single page leads to user exhaustion and a lack of clear milestones.
  3. Reduced decision confidence: Without clear segmentation, users may skip important details or feel uncertain about their selections.
